1. Who we are
Ramada Builders Ltd. (“Ramada”, “we”, “us”) is a Dhaka-based real-estate developer specialising in considered, halal-aligned residential projects. This Privacy Policy applies to ramadabuilders.com, to inquiries submitted through this website, and to information shared with us during consultations, site visits and investor correspondence. It does not cover third-party websites we may link to.
2. Information we collect
We only collect information that you choose to share with us. This typically includes your name, phone number, email address, the project or unit you are inquiring about, your budget range or financing preference, and any notes you add to a contact form. When you visit the website, our hosting provider also records standard technical data — IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamps — for security and basic traffic analysis. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
3. How we use your information
Information is used to respond to your inquiry, schedule a viewing or consultation, share project documentation, brochures or pricing, prepare and execute reservation or sale agreements, and stay in touch about related projects you have explicitly expressed interest in. We also use aggregated, non-identifying website analytics to improve the clarity of our pages. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Lawful basis
We process your information on the basis of your consent (when you submit a form or write to us), our legitimate interest in operating a professional real-estate practice, and where applicable our contractual and legal obligations under the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with parties who need it to deliver a service you have engaged us for — for example, our legal counsel during deed preparation, our architectural and engineering consultants when a question is specific to your unit, or regulators and authorities when we are legally required to do so. Any such party is bound by confidentiality obligations consistent with this policy.
6. Data retention
Active inquiry records are retained for as long as we are in conversation with you, and for up to three years thereafter so we can respond if you return to us. Records connected to a signed agreement (reservations, allotments, deeds, handover documentation) are retained for the longer of twelve years or the period required by Bangladeshi tax, land and corporate law. You may ask us to delete records that are no longer subject to a legal retention obligation.
7. Security
Inquiry data is stored on access-controlled systems and is available only to Ramada staff who need it to respond to you. Physical documents are kept at our registered office in locked storage. We review our safeguards periodically; however, no method of transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, and we encourage you to avoid sending sensitive financial details by email.
8. Cookies
This website uses a small number of essential cookies required for the site to function (for example, remembering that you have dismissed a notice). We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not run cross-site behavioural tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work, with minor convenience features unavailable.
9. Your rights
You may, at any time, ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, correct it if it is inaccurate, delete it where no legal obligation requires us to keep it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. Requests should be sent in writing to hello@ramadabuilders.com. We aim to respond within thirty days.
10. Updates to this policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practice or in the law. Material changes will be noted at the bottom of this page with a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use the website after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
